Dan Rocca
Selected Theatres,
2025

This work is largely inspired by my experiences moving through large, empty theatre spaces. These images ask the viewer to meditate on themes like light, performance, emptiness, nature, and artifice. Meant to highlight the theatre and cinema as a door between worlds, this work presents theatres in an abstract, mystical way–as spaces of quiet transcendence.

Alex Chacinski
Ladder Guy,
2025

Ladders are everywhere - practical, familiar, and often overlooked. But like people, they come in every shape and size, each with their own story. This sculpture explores the intersection between function and imagination. What happens when a tool designed for utility expresses a personality?

This piece was constructed from stock lumber you might find in a quiet corner of a woodshop. After hours, when the tools are put away and the sawdust settles, Ladder Guy comes to life. Playful and slightly uncanny, Ladder Guy invites us to see the potential for life and character in an ordinary, inanimate object.
